The Fulton County Community Foundation has awarded a $1,000 grant to The Outlet Youth Center in support of the Youth Center’s after-school program. Since opening in 2020, The Outlet Youth Center has grown into a safe and welcoming space for local youth. But with constant use, some of the games and equipment have worn out. Thanks to this grant, the Youth Center will be able to replace broken items and stock its snack cabinet for the new school year. “We are so thankful for NICF supporting our mission,”
The Fulton County Community Foundation has awarded a $5,500 grant to The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, opening doors to new learning opportunities for local students through the Museum’s newly established Field Trip Fund. Beginning in 2028, the Field Trip Fund will provide unlimited free field trips for all Fulton County schools, in perpetuity, eliminating admission fees that often present barriers for schools and families. The 2026 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship application will be available August 1, 2025 through the Fulton County Community Foundation. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program (LECSP) will provide 147 scholarships statewide with one being awarded in Fulton County. LECSP scholarships may be used for otherwise unreimbursed full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year. Akron, Ind. – The Fulton County Community Foundation has awarded a $1,200 grant to Akron Las Donas to help fund their popular Friday Night Live Music in the Park series. Founded in 1957, the Akron Las Donas Club is a ladies’ civic club dedicated to promoting and supporting the Akron community.
