The Fulton County Community Foundation has awarded a $2,000 grant to Warsaw Adult Education (WAE) to expand its services for Fulton County residents. Through Rochester Schools, WAE provides adults with the opportunity to earn their High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma or improve their English language skills—resources that remain vital yet often underutilized in the community.
“Warsaw Adult Education is deeply grateful to the Northern Indiana Community Foundation for its generous grant in support of Adult Education services in Rochester and the surrounding area,” said Leo Patiño, Director of Adult Education. “This investment will allow us to kick-start our High School Equivalency program. We are always looking to expand our community partners, so give us a call if interested.”
Classes will be led by Rochester’s own Jaimie Kirkwood, returning as Adult Education teacher. Together with WAE, she is committed to empowering students and creating opportunities that transform lives.
An orientation for new students will be held on September 3 at 6 p.m. at The Learning Center in Rochester. Interested participants should register at www.warsawschools.org/o/wae, or text 574-216-3636 for more information.
