Rochester, Ind. – American Legion Post 36 has received a $1,750 grant from the Fulton County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, to help support Rochester’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show.
The Legion has proudly sponsored Rochester’s display for several years now, creating a meaningful opportunity for local residents - both young and old - to celebrate our nation’s independence close to home. Beyond the fireworks, Post 36 is active in the community through programs like the Fulton County Honor Guard and youth flag education initiatives in area schools.
“We’re proud to support a tradition that continues to bring the community together year after year,” said Brian Johnson, Fulton County Community Foundation Director of Development. “We’re looking forward to a strong turnout and hope this year’s event creates lasting memories for families and friends. It’s the small moments like these that help build a stronger, more connected Fulton County.”
This year’s fireworks show will take place on July 3rd, beginning at dusk. Launched from the Fulton County Airport, the sky will light up in celebration countywide.
