The Fulton County Public Library is preparing for a summer full of reading, activities, and special events, with registration for its 2026 Summer Library Program opening Monday, June 1st. This year’s theme, “Unearth a Story,” will focus on dinosaurs, fossils, and archaeology through a variety of hands-on programs and presentations for all ages. Indiana University Kokomo Spring Dean’s List, Chancellor’s List, Honor Academic Achievement

KOKOMO, Ind. — In the spring 2026 semester, 785 full-time Indiana University Kokomo students earned chancellor’s list or dean’s list honors. Chancellor’s list students earned a 4.0 grade point average (GPA), while dean’s list students earned a minimum 3.5 GPA on a scale of 4.0, while carrying at least 12 credit hours throughout the grading period. The Fulton County Community Foundation’s summer scholarship application will open on June 1. Foundation Grant Helps Sensory Success Project

The Fulton County Community Foundation granted $2,000 through the Grass Creek Memorial Fund to Columbia Elementary School for their Sensory Success Project. This project helps provide sensory-based learning tools and resources that support all students. Examples include visual aids and tactile items that can be catered to each child individually.
